Abby turned 11 months old 2 days ago and within the past few days she has started walking more and more. She needs to have something to pull herself up on, but after that, she will usually walk around rather than crawl. She does it on her own without us having to coax her into walking. It’s kind of strange to turn around and see her walking in her slow, unsteady little way. I have also found myself setting her down standing up rather than sitting lately too.
I guess this means I need to find her some shoes! I’ve been putting it off because they grow out of them so fast. Any ideas on where to find cute, affordable, baby girl shoes?

Go Abby! She looks really stable already! Lexie watched the video and said, "That's my friend's baby. My friend Adam." Anyway, Lexie's first little shoes when she was just walking were from Payless. Not necessarily affordable by any means but she had fat feet and that was the only place I could find ones that would fit her.
Wow. Suse isn't even crawling. But Dal was late on gross motor, and he caught up just fine!!! SO IT'S OKAY THAT ABBY, LUKE AND BRYNLEE ARE DOING THINGS SUSIE ISN'T!!! :) Spoken like a true paranoid parent, right? :)

I kept Karlee in soft soled shoes for the first couple of months she was walking just because they use their toes for balance quite a bit. Since then I've found random boutiques online that have really cute girl shoes for cheap. Payless is also a good place.
I miss her. What size are her feet?
She is so cute! I'm so glad that Sarah isn't walking yet, but it is so fun to see them take those first steps.
Sometimes you can find good shoes for cheap at kid to kid, but not always. It's kind of hit and miss with that place but I have found some there before.
