It's a.....

Probably. The stinker wouldn't quite cooperate but my doctor said she didn't see any boy parts (and neither did we) so she was saying it's a girl but making no promises. I have my actual full ultrasound 2 weeks from today so we should be able to confirm 100% that it's a girl then.

I'm actually more disappointed then I thought I'd be which is crazy becaue I really do want a daughter. I was just hoping that #2 would be a boy so Adam would have a brother to grow up with. But, a girl is wonderful and she and Adam will still be good friends as they grow up. The other issue is that we have to start from scratch with girl clothes. And decide where to put her! We either have the kids share a room or we convert our office into a bedroom and then have no where for our computer and bookcases to go. I'm choosing to not dwell on anything until 2 weeks from now when I am SURE it's a girl. I don't even know if I can start calling the baby a girl yet. It's already abstract enough thinking about the alien inside me that you can hardly feel at this point so giving it a gender and even a name seems too strange right now.

So although I wished I was overjoyed and excited....I need a couple weeks to digest! I do remember feeling this way when I found out Adam was a boy so I'm not all that surprised. I guess I'm one of those people who needs time to get used to something new!

Congrats! That's frustrating that they couldn't give you a 100% though...guess she's just being modest! :)

YA! Ambra that will be fun for you if its a girl! I can remember you always saying how much you wanted a girl and I wanted a boy. And look, our 1st's were total opposits!
I can understand what you mean though, I was disapointed at first too and needed to digest the "pink clothes" princesses, dolls and the thought of doing her hair! But now I am beyond excited and can't wait to meet her.
And being a stinker I can understand, she was not very helpful in showing any of her anatomy to the doctor either...especially her heart!

Congrats again...hopefully you will find out for sure in 2 weeks!

Yay yay yay!! Girls are so much fun. I totally know how you feel though, I cried when I found out Kasen was a boy cuz I wanted Kaya to have a sis (I loved having sisters), but soon got over it and now I love having both! Kaya and Kasen are best buds, and they love eachother!! We had them share a room in our old house and it worked great. There are lots of ways to incorporate boy and girl themes together, let me know if you want ideas. Also we have lots of girl stuff we can pass along if you want.

Congrats!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! I was very excited to find out Ashley was a girl, however she too took a 2nd ultrasound to know that she was a girl. Justin wasn't modest at all. You will love that your little girl has a wonderful older brother in Adam. Justin wishes he had a brother, but he is the ABSOLUTE BEST older brother to 3 sisters. They adore him, and they are the twinkles in his eyes. Once you know 100% for sure you will be more excited. Love ya!
